Ramón Ruíz, 91, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020. He was born in Puerto Rico and moved to NYC in 1953. In 1992 he relocated to Central Florida with his wife and daughter.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Orlando, Florida. Ramón was a caring, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a hard worker and always tackled difficult projects head on. He also enjoyed cooking and gardening. All the neighbors could count on him if they needed anything. He was always giving of himself without asking for anything in return
He is survived by his children, María Bencosme and her husband, Martin Bencosme, Ramón Ruíz, Jr. and his wife Myla Ruiz, and Claribel Ruíz; grandchildren Marissa Smith and her husband, Keith Smith and Cristina Bencosme-Colón and her husband, Myles Colon; and two great grandchildren, Dalton Smith and Maya Colón.
