Peter W. Bean

Peter Warren Bean of Orlando, Florida passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at home. His family includes his wife of 44 years Joan D. Bean; daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and Spanky Spangler of Clermont, FL; daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Martin Whelan of Orlando, FL; son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Amy Bean of St. Cloud, FL; son and daughter-in-law David and Jessica Bean of Windermere, FL; 9 grandchildren Zachary, Christopher, Olivia, Dean, Bradley, Kian, Conor, Peyton and Trevin. Mr. Bean retired from being an Assistant Principal in the Elmira City School District and from being a United Methodist Lay Minister in New York where he served four churches. He also served as Town Justice in Erin, New York after serving in the United States Army. After retiring to Florida, Mr. Bean became a charter member of Peace United Methodist Church in Hunter’s Creek. He will always be remembered for his loving and gentle nature. He was a man of stellar Christian character and integrity with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Peace United Methodist Church in Orlando, FL on October 20, 2012 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
