Blue was always our favorite color, a symbol of our connection, until we meet again. 💙🕊️

I know you’re looking down on us and smiling, knowing that you did the best you could. I understand that you loved me, but you showed it in ways different from others, and while I sometimes wished for a different expression, I made peace with our relationship long ago. Your love continues to inspire us as we navigate life without you physically by our side. Your legacy lives on in our hearts, and we will forever cherish your memory. You were not only my father, but also my twin, as people often remarked. Your favorite line whenever you saw me was, 'You know you look good because of me, right?' It never failed to bring a smile to my face. Despite not being able to spend as much time together as we wished, In the moments we did share, we mirrored each other's actions and mannerisms, finding comfort in our similarities. Our last conversation, just days before your passing, brought us the closure we both needed. You will forever hold a special place in my heart as my father, and I will always love and miss you. Your daughter, forever and always. 💙

I honor your life today not because you were perfect, but because you were mine. My father. My friend. The best part of you being my dad is that you’re so much more than that. You’re a comedian with the best jokes. You’re a strong man with a strong personality ( wonder were I get it from) you’re somehow a jack of all trades. You were my hero all the way till the end. Most importantly, you were more than just a dad. You were the best father a daughter could have asked for. I love you every day I miss you everyday, and think about you everyday. However, the thing I think most is how grateful I am to have had the experience of you as a father, as a dad and as a friend. I cannot thank you enough for all the memories I have. Thank you for all the memories of you loving me and me loving you.

You are the foundation of this family. You loved every single one of us, as we are. Your jokes, sarcasm, love and kindness made you one of the absolute best people on this earth. You always made sure I was ok, not just me but me and my kids. 
It was a pleasure to spend as much time as I could with you, to take care of you when I was could like you did with us. Never a burden, always a joy…the mischievous moments we shared ❤️ always made sure I knew how important family is. And I do and I cherish them with my whole heart. I miss you and it SUCKS that we have to move on without you physically here but forever in our hearts & spirits.

I am beyond grateful that God allowed us time to spend with you. Memories etched in my heart and the rest of us forever.

To the man that always made sure I was okay, had things , and made sure I knew he loved me. No matter what and no matter where I knew you would always support me in everything I did. You always told me you were a pain in the butt when you joked with me but you never were. You always made me laugh. You always told me how proud you were and I will always make you proud. I know you are in a better place now and will continue to love me the way you did here up there. I couldn't have asked for a better relationship with you and I'm glad you were there for all the big things. I love you so much grandpa.

Grandpa was always kind and loving but when we joke around anything and everything was fair game.  But my favorite thing from Grandpa was when I told him “I love you” he would say “I know” and give a smirk and give me hug. I miss you Grandpa but I will see you one day in Heaven.  I love you Grandpa.

I thank the Lord for blessing me with such an amazing father. You were always there for me when I needed you most. I am grateful that God used me to lead you to the Lord and pray with you. I will cherish all the memories of the good and bad times. I know you are happy where you are. I will miss you but I know we will be together again. God has you in heaven and I have you in my heart.

He was very entertained with scratch off tickets even though he never won big he always loved to do scratch offs.

I remember all the good times we spent together back in Brooklyn, hanging out playing dominoes and having a good time, Pedro was known for his playful teasing and to crack his jokes, which made everyone double over with laughter. But amidst the grief, I could almost hear his voice urging us to remember him with joy, laughter, and a cold Heineken, just as he had lived his life. My heart goes out to his immediate family, may you find comfort and support of those around you. Rest in peace my dear brother-in-law, may your soul find peace and eternal joy. We shall meet again in the afterlife where we can once again share laughter and good times.

My dearest (favorite) brother-in-law, you were a great husband, father and grandfather, a hardworking man, through it all you always had a great sense of humor always made people laugh, I will always remember your kindness your jokes  and your zest for life, you’ll be missed by many…Love always, Mimi (Miriam)
