Pauline Maye Townsend

Born on August 1, 1924 in Chester West Virginia to Ruth Ellen Allison and Clyde McGuire Allison. Pauline married Vernon Clifton Townsend Jr. on March 7, 1948 in Maine and called Orlando Florida her home since 1950. She was loved by and will be missed by all. Her loving husband, Vernon, Clifton Townsend Jr. was born on November 6, 1924 and was laid to rest February 29 in 2004. They will now be laid to rest side-by-side, awaiting their Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Her eldest son, Lee Edward Townsend, was born on August 7, 1949 in Norway Maine and was laid to rest August 21, 2003. She is survived by her sisters Minnabel Allison Lott who was born on February 9, 1928 and Sue Ellen Allison Conkle who was born on December 4, 1939, son David Clifton Townsend, who was born on December 8, 1951 in Orlando, Florida and her daughter, Phyllis Ann Townsend, who was born on February 7, 1957 in Orlando Florida. Her grandchildren are Anthony Lee Townsend (passed July 4, 2016), Jeffrey Clayton Townsend, Slade Brandon Miller, Charles Alan Townsend (passed on October 2, 1983), and Mindy Leigh Townsend. Her great grandchildren are Taylor Leigh Townsend, Alex Clayton Townsend, Olivia Mae Miller, and Jack Clifton Miller.

Polly, as she was known by so many, lived a long and wondrous life, full of adventures and meaningful moments shared with all those that she met and loved along the way. Though she is no longer with us in body, she will always be with us all in memory and spirit until the day we all meet again in Heaven.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:30pm EST on September 24, 2023 at the WholeLife Orlando church where she was a member for nearly 80 years. Graveside services will be held at Highland Memorial Gardens immediately after.
