Two memories come to mind when I think of Trish. First and foremost, Trish was the main factor in my wife (Julie) and I getting together nearly 34 years ago. Second was the first time I saw Trish on a softball field. We were taking batting practice and Trish started batting. I was at 3rd base. She let loose a grunt like Serena Williams and hit the ball directly at my head. I caught the ball out of self-defense and promptly went out to the outfield, where I was more likely to survive. She is an awesome soul and will be sorely missed. Love ya Trish!

I’ve waited to share.  1982 was a time ago.  I’m speaking to you.  Not to the audience.  Instead of pontificating about the memories, I want you to  know.  You will live with ME, through the years.  Dearest of all and extremely grateful for you, who has my blessings.

Trish was truly once of the kindest people I have ever known.  Although we had some really tough days together at our office, she still managed to keep a smile.  Her love of helping others will never be forgotten.  May you soar in your next journey

To Trish's Family:  
Trish was my paralegal for the better part of 10 years and my billing clerk up until I closed my law practice in 2014.  She did so much in those positions and she did it all so well.  But she was much more than an employee to me -- she was a valued and dear friend. 
She helped me plan my kids' birthday parties, she picked them up from school when I could not, she gave me advice even when I didn't ask for it, she shared in my business successes and losses and she listened to my complaints.   Trish was always happy and upbeat.  She had that certain glee in her eye and spring in her step that was unique to Trish.  My clients loved her.  I did too. 
She would find and point out a silver lining in every unpleasant circumstance.   She loved life.   She loved birthdays (especially her own!).   She loved traditions.  She loved to be loved.  But above all, she loved her family.  She was so proud to be a Steed!   She would not miss an opportunity to tell you about her grandmother's adventures or one of her brother's accomplishments or her family's involvement in the Central Florida area.  
I know this is hard on all of you.  I am still trying to come to terms with her passing.  Know that she mattered.  Know that she was loved.  Know that she will be missed.  But know that she is in a much better place now and in our own time we will all see her again.

Dear Trish’s parents and family, 

It is with a broken heart that I write this message. Trish has been a close friend for over 13 years. We worked together and experienced great adventures as well as sad moments together. She was the funniest and sweetest person I know. She always carried her feelings in her sleeves. I know that Trish deeply loved each of you. She always shared the great times she experienced at family get togethers. She couldn’t get enough of them! She LOVED Christmas, Halloween and let’s not forget her birthday! Celebrating with family and friends was very important to her. Trish had the most incredible spirit, she was definitely one of a kind. Trish was an amazing person and my husband and I feel so honored to have known her. Our deepest condolences to each of you.
