Millie was the daughter of Swedish immigrants Carl and Hildur Olson. She was very active in athletics in her younger days. After graduating from high school she went to California to get warm and took a job as a secretary at California Institute of Technology (Caltech). While there, she met the love of her life, Robert Christian. After a whirlwind romance of three months, they married in 1955 and had three daughters, Tracy, Kelly and Terry. Millie especially loved cruising with Bob, her family and friends. Her love for world travel allowed her to visit 6 of the 7 continents, just missing out on Antarctica. She established the highest level of cruising status, Pinnacle, on Royal Caribbean.
In addition to her three daughters, she had seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was a loving and caring wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Millie lived an adventurous life taking the path less traveled and will be missed by all who met her.
