Michael James Gaughan died November 5, 2018, from undiagnosed heart disease, he was 53. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 28, 1965 to Patrick James and Mary Lynn Gaughan. From the time he could walk Michael was always curious how things worked. Taking things apart and putting them back together, only to make them better. He loved cars and always took immaculate care of any car he owned which lead him to create Miracle Shine, a polish cleanser which had multiple uses but was preferred by top collectors of vintage cars. He was a friend to a fault and a loving person. He moved to Orlando, Florida and was dedicated in taking care of his Great Uncle Brigadier General Robert Gaughan as he was battling cancer that eventually took his life. He continued at the bequest of his Uncle to take care of his wife, Michaels, Great Aunt Evelyn Gaughan which he did until her passing several years later. Michael retired young and enjoyed learning how to play guitar and piano among other new hobbies. He loved to go to garage sales and look for gold or silver hiding among the junk jewelry, always seeming to find some each time. Michael was proceeded in death by his Mother, Mary Lynn Gaughan. He is survived by his Father, Patrick James Gaughan (Lynda), sisters Stacy Lynn Gaughan and Erin Tyler (Andy) and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He will be missed by many. There will be a life celebration in the Spring where his ashes will be interned with his Mother at Oaklawn Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
