Mary Polly Shaw Gentry went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2020.
She was the youngest of ten children born to Ander and Alice Shaw August 1, 1930 in Okahumpka, Florida.
She married Charles J. Gentry on September 9, 1950. They adopted daughter Melanie Gentry, retired USAF and son Dan Gentry, a Realtor. Mary was a stay at home mom since 1963. Prior to that she graduated from Leesburg High School and worked for the City of Leesburg.
She is pre-deceased by six sisters, Leecy Connell, Molly Shows, Nona Murphy, Mildred Shaw, Bessie Lou Field, and Alma Broadwater. She is also pre-deceased by three brothers, Delwin, Abner and Brady Shaw.
