Mary Jo Asher

Mary Jo Asher passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010. She was born January 1, 1940 in Washington, DC, grew up in Missouri and moved to Orlando in 1958. She graduated from Stuart Hall in Virginia and attended the University of Missouri. She was involved in community activities including Cub/Boy Scouts, PTA, DAR member and was Orlando Day Nursery Foundation President. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Don; son, Dean (Wendy) ; grandson, Reese (8); granddaughter, Morgan (5) and brother, George W. Cooper, Jr. of Chatham, MA. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church of Orlando. Viewing from 10:30 until 11:00 AM.
