Devout Catholic and Child of God, wife, mother, sister, friend, Marie Linton Delaney (80), unexpectedly left this earth after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 59 years, Edward; sisters, Eileen (Gerry) and Anne (Chris); brother, Paul (Joan); sister-in-law, Susan; four children, Edward (Kim), Kathleen, Matthew, Susan (Chris) and four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lura, Douglas, and Bruno. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul; mother, Marie and brother, Michael. Marie also leaves behind countless friends, too many to name, and perhaps a political foe as well. Marie was described by her husband and children as the most selfless woman on earth who was devoted to her Lord and Savior and her family.
