Ms. Rivera was born on June 14, 1954. She enjoyed yearly visits to the beach with her grandchildren. She was a good friend, a loving mother, and a loving sister; but most important to her, she was a wonderful and loving grandmother.
She also enjoyed Happy Hour with her friends and enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends when she would visit Puerto Rico.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jaime Torres.
Survivors include her mother; Dora Torres; loving son, Elijah Rivera and his wife, Veronica; brother, P.J. Torres and his wife Mary Ellen; two grandchildren, Arielle and Madelynn Rivera, and a host of extended friends and family members.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Road, Orlando with a reception following until 3 pm.
