Les was born on June 21, 1932 in Hagerstown, MD. Les was the son of Alice Virginia (Kershner) Robinson and Leslie Watson Robinson, Sr.
Les served in the Air Force from 1950 to 1954 as a Communications and Navigation Equipment Repairman. During his time in the military, he received the National Defense Service Medal for serving during the Korean War, Occupation Medal Germany, and Good Conduct Medal.

During his time with Lockheed Martin, Les worked closely with military commanders and took pride in providing support to our military and nation. His primary focus during his time with Lockheed Martin was working on the night vision and targeting system on Apache helicopters.
Over the years, Les enjoyed traveling with his loving wife, Elizabeth. During his assignment with Lockheed Martin in Germany, they traveled to various countries all over Europe. During visits, Les loved taking the grandkids on boat rides, hanging out on sandbars and watching the fireworks from the water on the 4th of July. Les was lovingly known as “Papoo” to his many grandchildren and always welcomed their visits. Les enjoyed fishing, boating, spending time outdoors, working in the yard, reading, discussing politics, and tinkering around the house.
