Laura Lee

10, 2022. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, girlfriend, and friend to

everyone who knew her.

Laura, born on September 22, 1964, had a way of lighting up a room with her bright smile,

infectious laugh and extraordinary presence. To know her was to love her. She always found

ways to make those around her feel special and had such a positive way of impacting the lives of

others. The life of the party, dancing queen and karaoke extraordinaire, it was hard not to enjoy

time with her. Laura’s family and friends were her life. She was so in love with her 4 grandkids

and spent as much time as possible with them.

Laura was a loving mother to Kimberly Ouellette and Jacob Anderson, spouses, Joel Ouellette

and Jenny Anderson. Proud Gigi to Jaxon, Silas, Addie and Teagen. Wonderful daughter of

Norman and Theresa Hallowell, granddaughter to Lillian Dulac, and beloved sister to Valerie

Stacey, brother in law Brian Stacey, aunt to nieces and nephews Samantha, Matthew, Abbey and

Travis. In 2019, Laura met her soulmate, Robert Webber, and together they were parents to

their fur baby Beau, to whom she enjoyed couch snuggles and chasing his pain in the butt while

throwing profanities.

As a kid, Laura enjoyed skateboarding, playing guitar, listening to the French song (a family

song) even though she had no idea what the lyrics actually said, and many mischievous

endeavors with friends. She loved Patsy Cline, singing along to just about any country song,

mumbling through the lyrics she didn’t know. She enjoyed dancing, camping, golfing, plain

hamburgers, a perfectly grilled steak and walks on the beach collecting sea glass.

Laura was a hardworking woman from an early age, working at a department store through high

school and later embarking on several different career paths through the years. Some of those

jobs include Pella Windows, a graphic designer, and designing album covers for bands like

Mickey Dolenz from The Monkeys. She opened her own Mortgage Company, J&L Mortgage, and

most recently was a manager at a long term care pharmacy. Laura also always found ways to

make money while enjoying time with her children. She got a job as a bus driver so she could

drive Kimberly’s high school sport teams to all of their games, ensuring that she would never

miss a game because of work.

Laura fought a long six year battle with metastatic breast cancer, a battle she didn’t lose.

Instead, she laughed in the face of the disease. She never let her diagnosis interfere with living

her life to its full potential. She was not afraid of the future, she kept a smile on her face, and

constantly held positivity in her heart. She took control of what she could and decided to rest on

her terms.

Laura exuded strength, dignity and grace, and her strong display of positivity has inspired all

those who know and love her. Her profound appreciation for life will live on through us all.
