Katherine was born on March 20, 1931 to Charles and Elizabeth Romer In New York City City.She was a long term resident of the Inwood section of upper Manhattan and worked for over 30 years as a medical secretary at NY Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Washington Heights.
Katherine married her second husband, Ken Sklar in 1994.They enjoyed many cruises together as they discovered new areas around the world .In 1997 they made the big move south and relocated to Orlando , Florida where she had lived since in the Ventura Country Club community.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Romer, her husband, Ken Sklar, her sister, Marion Stevens, and her brother, Eugene Romer.
She is survived by her loving family…..her daughter, Denise Fogarty ( Steve), her son, George Courchesne (Linda) as well as by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren .
