Joseph M. Mayo Bon, 96 of Orlando, died on December 31, 2020. He was born in Cangass del Morrazzo, Spain on August 4, 1924. Joseph studied in Spain to later join the Spaniard Merchant Marines. He was married to Luz Adela Bustamante on April 26, 2012.
Joseph worked as a machinist in Connecticut when he first arrived at the United States. He also lived in Puerto Rico, before settling in Orlando in 1990 to enjoy his golden years. During his service at the Spaniard Merchant Marines, he visited many countries, which fed his passion for travelling. However, his favorite places were his Native Cangass del Morrazzo and Santiago de Compostela, Spain. His other hobbies included gardening, collecting antiques and coins, telling stories, and enjoying peaceful time at home.
He was survived by his wife Luz, three stepdaughters and five grandchildren.
