Jeanne D’Agostino Rodriguez of Orlando, FL went to be with her Lord on April 17, 2015 surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born in Worcester, MA on July 7, 1921. Jeanne was the owner of the Villa Nova Restaurant in Winter Park, FL. She also was the Director of Public Relations for Laurel Oaks Hospital and a Guardian ad litem for children. Jeanne loved to spend time and care for her family and to assist children in need of her love. She was a devout Catholic and very active supporter of Morning Star School and Bishop Grady Villas. She was a prominent contributor to the Republican Party since the 1940’s. She was deeply involved in election campaigns for 6 Presidents from Eisenhower to George W. Bush and many other prominent state and national politicians. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Antoinette D’Agostino; her beloved husband, John Lado Rodriguez; her brothers, Joseph D’Agostino and Tony D’Agostino and by her aunt, Frances Avigone. Jeanne is survived by her loving children: Mark Rodriguez and wife Kim; John Rodriguez and wife Vicki; her sisters, Florence Ross and Anna Belitz Powers; her grandchildren: Jordan, Jared, Jenna, Jillian, Rebecca and Elizabeth and by her great granddaughter Aylin.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 21 from 5 – 7 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Ivanhoe Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 22 at 10:30 AM at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Winter Park with interment to follow at Palm Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Bishop Grady Villas or to the Alzheimer’s Research at Serenades in Longwood.
