Janet Carolyn Lane

Janet Carolyn Lane of Orlando passed away peacefully on October 31, 2023. Janet was the only daughter of Fred & Dorothy Best of Jamaica, New York. She grew up in New Jersey where she graduated high school, attended some College courses and began working for AT&T as a Telephone Operator. There she met, married her husband and started a family.

In 1969 Janet and her family moved to Orlando, Florida where she continued working for AT&T. She was a loving Mother to her children. She shared a love of life for all creatures and cared for many pets throughout her life as well. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Jimmie D. Lane, of Jessup, Georgia. She is survived by her three loving children Dale, Marsha and Jeffrey. She goes now to be with Jim and will be sorely missed.

A graveside service for Janet will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, Florida 32789.
