James “Jim” Shockley, age 73 of Orlando, passed away on February 27, 2013 peacefully alongside his family. Jim was born in East St. Louis, Missouri on December 19, 1939 to Roy and Rose (Myers) Shockley. Jim served as a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy. Along with his loving wife, Joanne of 20 years, Jim is survived by his Son, Doug (Ashley) Shockley; Daughter Sherri Keith; Brother John Shockley; Sister Norma Shockley; four Grandchildren Amanda, Travis, Connor and Blake; and three Great Grandchildren Kobe, Kaden and Lily. Jim is preceded in death by his brothers Walter and Robert Shockley. Friends and family will miss him dearly. A Visitation for Jim will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 3pm-5pm at Family Funeral Care 13001 S. John Young Parkway Orlando, FL. The Funeral Service will be held during visitation hours at 4:00pm.
