On April 17th, 2018 surrounded by loved ones, Jacob Bermudez went home to be with the Lord. He was a dedicated husband, loving father of six and attentive grandfather of three. As a family man, Jacob cherished his seven siblings, countless cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. His friends grew to be part of that family he deeply adored.
Born in Vineland, New Jersey on October 20th, 1962 he was the beloved youngest son of Gilberto and Rosita Bermudez. From his dear parents he adopted his unwavering faith, extraordinary work ethic, and caring nature.
As the baby boy of seven siblings, his childhood was filled with laughter, joy and mischief.
Jacob enjoyed a hard days work in the yard, but it didn’t stop there. As a young teen he started his own business and became a successful entrepreneur.
In 1993, life led him to Florida where he flourished as a dedicated employee of Walt Disney World for over 20 years.
Jacob was not only a hardworking man, but he was a good hearted man whom everyone loved and enjoyed to be around. As a man of God, Jacob lived his life serving the Lord and delivering his message any chance he could. In his free time, he enjoyed spending special moments with his family, playing dominoes and racquetball with his buddies, vacationing and making others laugh. He will forever be known for his radiant smile, endless jokes and beautiful spirit.
He will be deeply missed and survived by his wife of 16 years, Silvana Bermudez, six adoring children, Victoria Bermudez, Jacob Bermudez Jr., Adam Bermudez, Jennifer Bermudez, Ana Bermudez and Lucas Bermudez, three precious grandchildren, Xavier Rodriguez, Allana Bermudez, unborn baby boy Ryder Jacob Bermudez, and seven doting siblings, Erminia Francis, Gilbert Bermudez, Jeremias Bermudez, Stephen Bermudez, Mickey Bermudez, Damaris Rivera and Merrari Bermudez.
God gave him to us and us to him. We are eternally grateful to have shared our lives with Jacob and will carry him in our hearts forever.
