My grandfather...my Daddy Jack. You will forever be a part of me. He was one of the greatest people I've ever known. I'm sitting here, on my porch, remembering all the great times I had with him. I don't like to say was,  I  will say is. He is, one of the greatest people I've ever known.  My Daddy Jack. When my oldest sister, Pam, was a baby, she would call him daddy, my father was in Vietnam at the time. Everyone would correct her and say, no that's Jack. She called him Daddy Jack. Needless to say, the name stuck for myself and my siblings. He is and will always be, my hero. The man who took us all into his life, with no questions. He loved us all! There are too many memories to share. I love you, always and forever, my Daddy Jack.❤❤❤❤

My grandpa, my pops. Wow! My pops was the most wonderful, full of life, fun loving character I have and will ever know. My sister said it... there are very few memories of my childhood that don't include granny and pops. Spending weekends out at the lake are definitely my most treasured memories. Yes, waking up to the smell of down south home cooked big breakfast cooking. Coming downstairs to see granny in her "no clothes" and looking out the back door and seeing pops out there either working down at the shop or grilling up some steaks on the grill. Those times were the absolute best. Pops driving his big orange tractor while we were playing and just outta the blue lower the bucket for all of us kids to jump in and go for a ride. He just did it to see his grandkids smile! Taking us out on the boat. I LOVE pontoons, because of him. I am just thankful to God for 1 giving him to us in the first place but that I went to see them last Christmas and I told him these things. Things that I couldn't express when I was little. Thank you God! Also, I learned how to drive on that old riding lawnmower out there, he actually paid me to drive and have fun. What a wonderful man who will be missed everyday! Thank you pops for who you were. I love you more than words could ever express. When I was little pops called me "Andy" I hated it then but have come to miss it. Love, "your Ander"

Papa, was my first hero and the man I looked up to. My last memory and one of the best memories I have is taking my daughter Lesh to bring him a glass of Ice Tea (his favorite). I never knew it would be my last time and her first time btinging Papa his Ice tea. Its been 9 years since thaf wonderful memory. I will cherish that memory forever.

I will never forget watching him build his plan at the Lake House, tractor rides in the big Orange tractor with all of kids. I use sit on his lap on the tractor and tell him we were going to California.  These memories be in my heart forever!

I wouldnt be the woman I am today with out all the things I learned from my Papa. 

I learn to always take care.of my family first and to put family first! 
 He lived a long full life and his legacy will forever live in my ❤.

I would give anything to have another cherry coke and another tractor ride with the smell of his cigar in the air.

This was my last visit with him in August 2018. He adored Seth and Seth loved him to pieces! So sweet!

Where to begin... Papa was an AMAZING man! Nearly every childhood memory I have he was a part of... From gatherings at the lake house, outings on the boat, cooking for any and everyone, to holidays on Wessex St. He and Granny both taught me so much as a child and he was still so full of knowledge up until the day he left this world. I loved going to visit and just sit and talk...there was never a dull moment in my 34 years of having him! My 3 children looked up to him. I am completely heartbroken and will forever have him in my heart! Thankful he was not sick and got to live a full, long life and is now back with Granny...fussing as usual and reunited with daddy and the others. I will miss this man more than anyone can ever imagine! I love you Papa! I'm going to be lost without you! 

 I was blessed to know and associate with Mr Jack since 2003. He was one of a rapidly vanishing breed of aviator. He was definitely from the old school of pilots, aircraft mechanics and Inspectors (IA) from the 40s and beyond. I had spent countless hours working with him on my airplanes during maintenance and inspections. He was a wealth of knowledge and always very helpful. I learned a great deal from him during our fifteen year association.

I will miss the ability to simply pick up the phone to call and ask a question, which I would frequently do. He was always happy to talk and help me work through any airplane issue. He would sometimes come out to my hangar just to visit when he needed to get out of the house. Jack filled some of the aviation maintenance void which occurred when my dad passed away unexpectedly in 2000. Though contemporaries, pilots and mechanics and having known several of the same aviation folks in the Orlando, FL area over the years, they never met. I just hope I am able to pass along some of the knowledge they both imparted to me over the years.

You will be missed, Mr Jack. I'm glad you will finally be able to meet my dad and talk airplanes and talk about the Florida folks you both knew back in the day.
