Ernest "Pat" West, Jr, age 89 of Orlando, FL, went home to be with his Lord May 18, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Minnie S. West; proud father of J. Michael (Miriam) West, Patricia (Terry) Erskine, Sylvia (Dave Cunningham) Taylor, the late Richard I. West, & Sharon West; grandfather of John (Laura) Erskine, Melody Erskine, Jennifer (Walter) Fleitas, Alexander (Kellie) Taylor, Elizabeth (Kris) Granger, Shelby (Tory) Cunningham, & Savanna Cunningham; great-grandfather of 6. Family will be present to receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd., Orlando. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10am at Downtown Baptist Church, 120 E. Pine St., Orlando FL. Mr. West will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
