Born on 10/18/1950 in Puerto Rico, Edy (as she was affectionately known) was the third child to her late parents Tomas and Pura Negron.
She lived most of her life in New Jersey working at the state's DMV for 30 years, was an avid sports fanatic, and had a weak spot in her heart for ice cream. A devoted mother, sister and wife and grandmother, her grandchildren were her truest joy, spending countless hours humoring their silly whims and babysitting stuffed animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Conrado Rivera, and youngest brother, Thomas Negron. She is survived by her children, Lisa Maria Rivera and Thomas Rivera (wife Siu-Ling Rivera); her siblings, Raymond Negron, Carmen Negron, Adanelly Santiago, and Samuel Santiago; her grandchildren, Gabriel and Meilani Rivera; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
