Jim, I was deeply saddened to hear of Dee's passing.  I am glad I got a glimpse of her in March when I visited with Kay Liles. There has never been a sweeter, kinder person - always happy and ready with a smile.  I feel privileged to have known Dee in Jr. high and Sr. high school and that we were able to stay in touch through the years although not often enough with my leaving the Orlando area. I was so sorry to hear of Dee's passing.  Dee was a Paraprofessional in my classroom and I always looked forward to her time in my room.  She always wore a smile and encouraged the kids to perform to the best of their abilities.  I truely enjoyed our talks and I know that she was such a mentor to the kids.  Mrs. Milam will be greatly missed!

My Aunt Dee was a kind, gentle, caring soul who always had a smile and a nice thing to say. Her voice had an almost musical tone that needs no explanation if you knew her. I didn't get to see her nearly as much as I would have liked, but she knew that I, and all of my family loved and respected her. I am so sad at her passing, but look forward to hearing that sweet voice again someday when we are all together again. Sleep sweetly, my dear Aunt Dee.

Jim, Jimmy, Judy and Jeff,  Count your blessings, count them one by one, and put your loving Christian wife/mother at the second place after Jesus, as she, like Him, would have given her life for each of you. She didn't want to be
anything but her real self and hated not to be all you needed these last trying

Dee Anne, I will fondly hold onto the memories of our childhood and Boone days.  Your sweet smile and gentle nature were always so heart warming.  Heaven has welcomed a true angel.

I thoroughly enjoyed the photo gallery.  It brought back such memories - elementary school, Jim and Dee's wedding and early motherhood.  We shared it all.  Even though we didn't see each other often, the bond was always there.  Her sweet spirit will be deeply missed.
