David A. Ryan

Ryan, David Arthur Age 73 passed away in Winter Park, Fl October 6, 2010. David was born in Shrewsbury, MA January 7, 1937 to parents Arthur Patrick Ryan and Helen Joan Perry Ryan. He attended Shrewsbury High School from 1951-1954 where he played football, baseball and basketball. David graduated from Worcester Polytechnical Institute (Class of 1959) where he received a BSEE belonged to Phi Kappa Theta and played football and baseball. He also played semi pro football for The Marlboro Shamrocks . His employment included working at Raytheon in Wayland, MA from 1960-1972 and Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL from 1972-1992 where he received Engineer of the year in 1989 and Top 100 Employee of the year several times. David is survived by his wife of 29 years Donna L Kinney Ryan , children; Ellen Rollins, Erin Ryan, Patrick Ryan, Dennis Ryan, Richard Ryan, Doug Henderson, and Dawn Henderson, siblings; Richard Ryan and Ann Sarowski, and 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife; Nancy Bullock Ryan, daughter; Colleen Ryan and sister; Jane Brunell. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 5:30PM at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home 2811 Curry Ford Rd. Orlando, FL. 32806.
