He was born in British Guiana, now known as The Republic of Guyana, on September 7, 1944 and moved to America in 1969 to seek higher education. David studied at The Berk Trade School in New York and received his diploma for air conditioning & refrigeration repair. David enjoyed his career as an AC/Refrigerator technician in New York and for OCPS in Orlando. He took great pride in his work, was meticulous and careful, and would often say when he repaired an appliance that it was good as new. He enjoyed cooking, traveling, spending time with family, and working on projects around the house which always seems to be endless.
He is survived by his significant other, Connie Kiewel; sons Christopher, David, and Patrick; siblings Henry, Paul, Michael, Peter, Chris, Clement Jr, Daniel, Veronica, Carolyn, Camille, Sonja, and Simone; 8 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his mother Grace Marjorie, his father Clement, and his brother Andy.
Any donations can be made in David’s name to the American Cancer Society. A viewing will be held at Family Funeral Care on Sunday, February 8th from 2:00-6:30pm, followed by a service at 6:30 pm.
