Daniel John Daley Jr.

Daniel J Daley 95 of Orlando,passed away Saturday Nov. 14 2020 after a brief illness at Advent Health Hospital in Kissimmee Fl. Born Nov. 13 1925 in Poughkeepsie NY, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Claire Daley. Survived by sons Gregory Daley of Orlando Fl. , Gary Daley of Poughkeepsie NY and daughter Daphne Daley of Floyd Va. Highly decorated military veteran for 32 years, served in two branches of the armed forces, Air Force and Army. WWII, Korea, and Viet Nam veteran, was a Bombadier on the B17. Finishing his career as a Special Intelligence Agent for the Department of Defense with Top Secret Clearance. Dan was a great story teller, with all of his war time experiences he could really captivate his audience. He was like a real life John Wayne. He loved spending time with family and friends and his little yorkie " Trixie". He always carried a laminated picture of his late wife Claire in his shirt pocket and wore their wedding bands on a chain around his neck,so devoted to her memory.He enjoyed woodworking and repairing vacuum cleaners he may find for fun to keep him busy, playing pool, and golf with his buddies up into his 80's. He always had a heart to help family and friends and was generous to a fault. Services will be private for family and close friends
