On Wednesday, June 27, 2018, Daniel Christian Burlaud, husband, father, son and brother, passed away at the age of 79 years, in Orlando, FL. Daniel, born in Paris, France, in August 1938 to his late parents Charles Burlaud and Raymonde Neveu, will be forever remembered and survived by his wife and best friend Patricia (Burlaud), his precious children, Olivier, Didier and Hervé, his sister Christiane, and his two grandchildren, Sandra and Melissa. Daniel will be forever remembered by all his nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Daniel would like to let you know that his journey on Earth is now complete and that he is finally free from the constant fight against Parkinson’s. He received a call, a sort of an offer you can’t refuse, for a destination from which he will not be returning. This cosmic travel comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with close family and friends, along with multiple thoughts of love originating from three continents. He loved Physics, teaching, travels, western movies, sweets, and sweets. Not necessarily in that order. He hated vegetables, socialists, and hypocrites. Not necessarily in that order. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he will be socializing, golfing without bunkers, dancing, eating celestial chocolate to his heart’s content, while waiting for his wife to join. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. He left instructions for his wife and children to celebrate his journey with everyone. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.
We want to let him know that he did a great job and wish him a safe journey. We will remember his smile, his warmth, his love for life, family, friends, and also his dear students, and colleagues, many of whom over time also became friends. He made a difference in the lives of many. We invite you to join us and celebrate together.
ARRANGEMENTS: Life Celebration will take place on Tuesday, July 3rd, at 1 p.m., at Family Funeral Care, 13001 S John Young Parkway, Orlando, FL 32837.
