Chosen, Called, and Elected; An Elect Lady and choice Daughter of God was called back to her heavenly home on Monday, 23 January 2023. Now in the paradise of God, she will continue the work of salvation for her family and others. Patiently enduring the trials of life, Cindy had a godly love for all and always championed the Olive Branch of Peacemaking. Her knowledge and testimony of the Savior burned brightly through her actions and deeds. She gently shared and taught the Savior's word and His love for everyone.
Cindy was born on 12 February 1967 in Tacoma, Washington, to Chuck & Dixie Lodholm. Cindy had a love for life and all Heavenly Father's creations. She loved the majesty of the mountains and the soothing sounds of the sea. She loved the fields, rocks, and flowers. She loved the sun's rising and setting, along with the stars that burned brightly in the night sky. She loved the animals and insects, as all come from God. She held reverence for all of God's creations, especially her temple.
Cindy graduated from the University of Hawaii as a Dental Hygienist, but her real profession was being a wife and mother. She loves her three children, Adam, Shelby, & Loren. Her devotion to each was remarkable. Married for 36 years to Mike, she is the love of his life and very heartbeat. She was omnibenevolent, able to notice and love the unnoticed and often unloved. She was constantly pausing to meet those who were passed by in a busy society. Her love for life and others was one of her spiritual gifts.
Cindy saw the beauty of life and often expressed her appreciation in art. She saw Heavenly Father's grand eternal plan and exercised faith in His Son daily. She faithfully held and honored sacred covenants. She lived for the Lord, her family, and those within her reach. She served in multiple leadership and support positions for over 40 years.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Mike, and three children, Adam, Shelby, & Loren. In addition, her mother, Dixie Lodholm, Brothers Harry & Steve Lodholm, and sister Cathy LaCross.
Cindy, you are missed, but our reunion will be Joyful. All my love till we meet again on that glorious day.
A funeral service for Cindy will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1375 Woodbury Road, Orlando, FL 32828
