Cathy you are missed so much here at Legal Aid Society. Rest in Peace!! From your everyone at Legal Aid Society and your Cathy's Angels!! We love you!!

I cherish memories of Cathy as child and Cathy as adult!  When I was moving John--my step-dad-- to Oklahoma, Cathy took several days off work to help me with the house and with getting John to the airport.  I am grateful not just for her help but for the chance for us to spend time together as adults.  Today I look at the heavy antique safe in my dining room and laugh at the memory of Cathy and me on the floor of the Burlington Avenue house sweating in the non air-conditioned room as we tried unsuccessfully to open it with the combination that John had painstakingly written out for me!  (Later John's wonderful  elderly neighbor Al opened it on his first try!)

Cathy was a wonderful person who dedicated her life to public service. She will be missed.  Chris Larson 

I am very sad at Cathy's passing.  She served us well in the Orange County Bar Association Legal Aid over these 33 years.  She was faithful in her service to the community and to the Bar.  RIP - Claire Groover

I'm Cathy's first cousin.  Although I have many happy childhood memories of Cathy, my favorite is from 2000, when I was preparing to take my dad from St Pete to Tulsa.  Cathy took off several days of work to help me pack up my dad's house in St Pete.  I will always be grateful for the hard task we did together and the calm way she helped me get him on the airplane.
