Betty Jean Burgess Radcliff, 82 of Groveland, FL passed away on October 15, 2014. She was born in Maidesville, WV on January 8, 1932 to the late Hosea and Mamie (Riley) Burgess. She retired from Publix Supermarkets and worked beside her minister husband as an Organist and Music Director. Their last church ministry was at Bear Lake United Methodist Church, Apopka, FL. Betty Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Cecil Radcliff, Jr.; by 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by her sister: Shirley Bolyard of Mt. Morris, PA; her sons: Cecil (Rhoda) Radcliff III, Kissimmee, FL and Daniel (Sherry) Radcliff of Groveland, FL; her six grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service and Reception will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at 2 PM at the St. Johns Episcopal Church, 1709 N. John Young Parkway Kissimmee, FL 34741. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Johns Memorial Garden Fund.
