Albert A. Liberatore, age 95 passed away June 13, 2012. He was born on April 26, 1917, in Bristol, PA, the son of Michael and Vincenza (Losito) Liberatore. He retired from USX Corp. in 1979 as a Millwright. He was an active volunteer at Holy Cross Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a Minister to the Sick for 27 years. He was a 3rd and 4th Degree Honorary Life member of the Knights of Columbus and was also a member of the Holy Cross Seniors Guild.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Antoinette Bono Liberatore, and daughter Loretta Petrosky. He is survived by sons Michael R. Liberatore and Albert J. (Angelina) Liberatore; son-in-law Ralph Petrosky; daughter Denise (Mark) Carlson; grandchildren Grant Carlson and Rachel Carlson (Joel) Gonzales; great grandchildren Adam and Troy Gonzales.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 17th from 6-9 p.m. at Family Funeral Care. Funeral Mass will held Monday, June 18th at 10 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
