Robert Thomas Weinert, Sr, age 60, of Worth, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2021. Loving husband of Dawn Weinert, nee Bauer; Beloved father of Robert, Jr. (Jaclyn), Tiffany (Eric), and Chad (Katlyn); Proud papa of Bobby, Eric, Payton, Grace, Elizah, Adam, Brooke, Sophia, and Lincoln; Dear brother of Richard, the late Jimmy, the late Arlene (the late William), the late Dorothy Ann (the late Stan), Stephen (Donna), the late William, Jeannette (Richard), and Peggy (Mike); Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews; Adored brother-in-law and friend to so many. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Weinert. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 11, from 4-9 PM at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 W 143rd, Orland Park, IL 60462. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 12, at Sacred Heart Church, 8245 W 111th St, Palos Hills, IL 60465. Please note, Mass is limited to 100 guests and if you are attending Mass you are required to sign up the night of the visitation at the Funeral Home. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Orland Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests at services.
