Diane Loesch

She was born in Chicago on January 8, 1942 to Ed and Marge Meinke. She always liked to say she shared Elvis’s birthday!

Diane lived in Lake Zurich, Illinois, for 40 years where she raised her 3 children and lived in Tinley Park the last 10 years of her life.

She was married to Frank Loesch for 30 years and shared her life with Joe Oldenwald for the next 30 years. Both Frank and Joe passed in 2022 and she is now back with them and our lord savior Jesus Christ.

There are 2 things that everyone knows about Diane. She loved to bowl and she collected foxes!

Diane was a member of the Fox Valley Women’s Bowling Association for over 25 years and was inducted into the Fox Valley WBA Hall of Fame on June 3, 1996. Diane’s bowling hobby allowed her to travel all over the US for annual bowling tournaments. She loved hanging out with her friends and filling up her photo albums with memories from the past 30 years of bowling trips!

Diane fulfilled her dream to marry and raise a family that anyone could be proud of, and that she did!

The loves of her life are her 3 children Steven (Nadine) Loesch, Jeffery Loesch (Monica Mueller), and Julie (Nick) Mirgeaux and 6 grandchildren, Steven, Nathan, Tim, Tyler, Lisa and Geena and 7 great grandchildren Quinn, Ben, Chloe, Ryland, Isla, Bella, and Giuliana; and brother Jim (Julie) Meinke.

Diane has left a mark in this world and in our hearts. She will be remembered with love and respect for her giving and compassionate nature. She has impacted and touched the lives of many and without her desire for family the 16 of us would not be here on this earth. We love you Mom! You will be greatly missed and we will cherish the memories of all the love and support you gave us freely throughout our entire lives!

A visitation for Diane will be held Monday, November 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 W 143RD ST, ORLAND PARK, IL 60462.

A burial will occur Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Acacia Park Cemetery, 7800 Irving Park Rd, Norridge, IL 60706.
