It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Weber, 86, a loving wife, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on January 6th, 2025. Connie was a beacon of love, kindness, and grace, whose life was a testament to the power of her compassion and strength.
Born on November 8th, 1938 in Chicago, Connie grew up with a passion for golf, tennis and antiquing. She dedicated her life to teaching our youth within the Chicago Public School System, always approaching every challenge with resilience and determination.
Her warmth was unmatched, and her ability to make everyone feel valued and cherished was one of her many gifts. Connie’s laughter filled rooms, her advice comforted hearts, and her generosity touched countless lives. Whether she was caring for one of her four children or volunteering with one of her many groups, she did so with an open heart.
Connie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, George. Loving mother of Bernie (Sheryl), Connie (Tim) Callan, Kareen (Todd) Ripperda and Mark (Christine). Loving grandmother of Katelyn Zachowski, Kirsten Weber, Bradley Zachowski, Regan Weber, Conlin Ripperda, Karlin Ripperda, Brandon Weber, Camryn Ripperda, Kelsey Weber, Dylan Weber, Aiden Weber, Karrick Ripperda and Khloe Weber, who will continue to honor her legacy by living with the same love and kindness she so effortlessly embodied. Loving sister of George (Barbara) Rourke. Fond aunt to many and dear friend to all.
Visitation at Orland Funeral Home on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 from 4 to 8 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to join in remembering her incredible life and sharing the many stories of her impact.
Chapel prayers will begin on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. from Orland Funeral Home, 9000 West 143rd Street, Orland Park to St. Michael Church, Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, as a tribute to her generous spirit and unwavering dedication.
Connie’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
