Bernadine F. Kudia

Bernadine Frances Kudia (Early) passed away peacefully in Palos Park, Il on January 9, 2023. Beloved wife for 69 years of the late Edward Joseph Kudia, loving mother of Michael (Colleen), John (Lisa), Richard and Mark; and always caring grandmother of Michael (Mickey), Kathleen, Frances (Joy), Shane, Madelyn and Joseph (Joey). Born in Penfield, IL on August 13, 1928, she was the sixth of the late Joseph Ignatius and Josephine (Buck) Early’s eleven beloved children. Although financially poor, their family was rich with love and strong in their Catholic faith. She is survived by her loving brother Donald; her late sisters include Mary Briggs, Collette Rocke, Joan Early, Patricia Foster and Ann Mitsdarfer; and the late brothers Joseph, John, George and Robert. “Aunt Bernie” to many nieces and nephews she will be remembered for her backyard pool parties and afternoon celebrations usually involving home baked kolache. Memorial Mass will be at 11 AM on Saturday January 28th at St. Michael Catholic Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park, IL. Donations to Catholic Charities in lieu of flowers.
