Juanita Vaughn Wilkerson

She was born in Dyersburg, TN and enjoyed hobbies such as sewing, quilting, gardening, reading, spent many hours doing volunteer work in the community and loved spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her children: Phillip V. (Cris) Wilkerson; Robert M. Wilkerson; James D. (Judie) Wilkerson; Katherine E. (Mike) Cayton and 9 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and dozens of families adopted from the heart.

She is predeceased by: Nully B. Wilkerson, Jr. (husband), Michael A. Cayton II (grandson), Laura Pointer Wilkerson (granddaughter in law), her mother, father, five brothers and many more loved ones.

Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 6-8pm at NAS Jacksonville Naval Chapel, 751 Birmingham Ave. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery Dyersburg, TN on October 24, 2015. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to: Navy Wives Clubs of America National Scholarship Foundation 1300 Hampton Drive, Summerville, SC 29483.
