John W. Snipes, age 69, passed away February 12, 2013. He was born in Douglas, GA and was a lifelong resident of Florida. He was a US Army veteran, and a member of the DMV. Brother Snipes was an Evangelist and attended Doctor’s Inlet Church of God, 144 Old Jennings Rd. where services will be held Saturday, February 16, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Stephen Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, from noon until service time at the church. Survivors include his wife Carolyan Snipes, son Henry, daughter Jennifer, brother Charles Snipes, sister Ann Snipes and a number of grand and great-grandchildren.
