10/17/1939-2/6/2020
John W Baldridge left us, unexpectedly for a better life on 2/6/2020.
This is a day that will not be forgotten by his sons.
John is survived by his three sons John M Baldridge, Steven S Baldridge, and
Brad A Baldridge. Grandsons Christian and Levi, in Alaska, to carry on the family name.
Michelle Roa, step daughter in Harrison, Ohio.
Also survived by his sisters Ann Baldridge and Marlene Ringel from Hamilton Ohio.
Dad was known to be the neighborhood watch. He would sit at the garage edge at the driveway
every morning drinking his coffee while reading the mail and newspapers. He always said hello and
waived to everyone that passed by. Several neighbors would stop by and talk with him daily.
John could strike up a conversation with a total stranger and an hour later they
would part friends. John loved his two dogs Tippy and Buck, he made certain they had plenty to eat.
I guess you could say his hobby was making sure the dogs were eating what ever he got himself
for dinner every night. John started planning their dinner while he was having lunch! After lunch
he would watch cable news to see what our President was up to for the day. Then he would share
his interpretation of the stories to his sons on the phone or their Saturday visits each week.
Its incredible how many people he had friended in his neighborhood as they have reached out to
his sons and shared stories and expressed their feelings toward him.
Dad you will be missed more than you could ever know. We will see you again, as time certainly
swiftly passes.
