Emily Keene Brooks, age 84, of Fleming Island, Florida passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. She was born in Palatka, Florida to the late George and Maggie Keene. Emily will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Freeman Brooks; 2 daughters: Lori Peacock and Vicki Brooks; grandchild, Sydney Peacock; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Friday, January 5, 2024 at CrossPointe Baptist Church, 1871 County Road 220, Fleming Island, FL with visitation held 1 hour prior to service at the church. Graveside service will follow at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073.
