Clarice "Sue" Branson, 89, loving mother and grandmother took flight with the angel's home to Heaven above on July 3, 2023. She was born January 23,1934 to the late Clarence and Eula McCoy in Daisy, GA.
She has resided in Florida since 1963 and was married for 60 years to Frank Oliver Branson until his passing in 2012. Sue worked in the food service industry for 45 years and claimed to have loved every minute of it. She worked in her retired years in the garden section at Ace Hardware in Clay County. Sue enjoyed flowers and plants, cooking, fishing, and square dancing. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Middleburg, FL.
Sue is survived by sons, Rex Branson (Pam), Randy Branson, daughter Camille Kittle (Jack), four grandsons, Mark and Jake Branson, Joshua Ingham and Jonah Kittle, five great-grandchildren, Nolan Branson, Corey and Hailey Ingham, Jackson Kittle and Natalia, and sister, Harriet Allen of Metter, GA and cherished friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation and viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until the hour of service at 3:00 PM, Friday, July 7, 2023 at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. Graveside interment onset to follow service. A Celebration of Life for Sue will be hosted immediately following at 4:30 PM at the HideAway Community Center located at 3860 Doctors Lake Drive, Orange Park, FL 32073.
