Betty A Hanning

Betty A. Hanning, 87 years of age went home to be with the Lord on February 1st 2018. She was born in Palmetto Florida and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1948. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 50 years, John L. Hanning. She is survived by her three sons, Gary (wife Kathleen), Maine Michael (wife Linda), Georgia Kevin (wife Sandy), Florida Three grandchildren, Jonathon, Ashley and Paige Four great grandchildren, Joshua, Seth, Ethan and Evan She was a member of First Baptist Church of Orange Park. As a Navy and F.A.A. wife, she put her heart into providing a Christian home for her Chief/Air Traffic Controller and three boys, no matter where they were stationed. Her gentle, loving and supportive ways poured over to her grandchildren, grand-dogs and her own companion, Buddy. She treasured those few special friendships throughout the years and enjoyed daily chats. She spent much of her time floating in the Gulf at Anna Maria Island, reading her Bible and completing cross-word puzzles. A viewing will be at Hardage-Gidden Rivermead Funeral Home Sunday, February 4th 127 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park Florida 32073. Family viewing will be at 5pm and friends visition will be 6 - 8pm. Funeral Services will be Monday, February 5th Hardage-Gidden Rivermead Funeral Home at 11am, followed by a graveside prayer at Jacksonville Memory Gardens111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park Florida 32073. No reception to follow.
