Bobby said that you, by far, were his best neighbor ever. We enjoyed and will miss the many memories we shared almost daily in the front yard. We promise to support your lovely wife whenever she needs us.

My Dearest Grandad,

Over the past month I got to spend time with you that I will cherish forever.  I know that you lived a good life and you were a faithful follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. One of my favorite memories is when we would come over during the summer and go swimming and then you would take us out for a boat ride afterwards. You are going to be missed so much. Thank you for all that you did for me and my children. I promise we will take good care of Momma, Uncle Shaun, & Grandma Mavis. I know we will see each other again someday. Give Quincie a hug and a kiss from us! I love you!

I remember going to church with you and your family.  We had LOTS of fun playing outside of the church after spiritual classes, as well as your Dad having Bible Study each Wed. evening at your house.  Thank you for including me!

I'm speaking for dad ronnie that talked to his brother often he misses him and loved him !

Bernie and I used to talk about fishing a lot he shared about the flounder he would catch and I shared about the redfish I caught and by the end of how big the fish were he asked if I had any redfish fillets, I said yes and gave the frozen fish to Jennifer to bring to him so Bernie and Mavis would have a great fish dinner. 

Bernie was an astute businessman and could sell an Eskimo snow!
He  was a big outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and scuba diving.
He loved to cook and he loved to eat!
He was a man of God and encouraged everyone to give their heart to the Lord.
May God be with his family and give them Peace in the days ahead!

IN MY 56 YEARS OF MEMORIES OF "BERNIE" I CHOOSE TO CELEBRATE HIS LIFE WITH HIS FAMILY AND ALL WHOSE LIFE HE TOUCHED.  GOD  AND FAMILY WERE HIS FOCUS, THIS FOCUS NEVER VARIED.  A WISE, KIND, GENEROUS AND COMPASSIONATE FRIEND , ONE YOU COULD ALWAYS COUNT ON TO OFFER ADVICE OR HELP.   A WITTY, HANDSOME AND CHARMING MAN WHO TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN HIS FAMILY AND HIS BUSINESS.  A PHONE CALL REQUESTING PRAYER WAS A CALL HE ALWAYS MADE TIME FOR.  TO PASS INTO GOD'S HANDS KNOWING THAT YOUR LIFE TOUCHED MANY, AND INFLUENCED OTHERS BY YOUR EXAMPLE IS TRULY A BLESSING.  Rest In Peace, FRIEND.  NONE OF US WILL EVER HEAR "CAROLINA BEACH MUSIC" AND NOT THINK OF YOU AND SMILE.

Wishing everyone peace and healing.  Uncle Bernard was always a very soft spoken and kind hearted man.  He inspired me with his entrepreneurial skills and honesty.  I know he had a huge welcoming party at heaven's gates.   Rest In Peace and pain free Uncle Bernard.  

Dear Grandaddy,

I am so sad that you're gone, but I take some peace in knowing that you're no longer in pain. You taught us to be strong, have faith in the Lord, and you were always the smartest man I knew. I know you're in heaven now with Quincie watching over us & protecting us. I wish we would've had more time with you, but God needed you more. I know you no longer have pain or worries. I love you and I am still striving everyday to make you proud of me.

Our love and prayers. We have been reviewing our memories of many good times of fellowship with Bernie and Mavis.
We thank God for the blessing of their friendship. 
Bernie was a student of the Word.  Particularly interested in the Messianic prophecies, the Rapture, Tribulation, Millennial Kingdom, and the New Heavens and New Earth.  He rejoiced in the marvelous grace of God that saves sinners, and is now experiencing his salvation fully in the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am going to miss my father . He was a character. He gave the best advice. I will miss our calls when we discussed any and everything we could think of. He is now in heaven with our Lord . No more pain and he is made whole! I love you Daddy!
