Barbara Hall Scott

SCOTT, BARBARA HALL, 89, passed away February 4th, 2022. Born Feb 9, 1932 in South Boston, VA, the daughter of Luther and Estelle Hall. A longtime member of The Church of Our Saviour, she married Don Scott with whom she traveled the world and raised a family. Barbara was an avid sportswoman and sailor, with a deep love of art and music. A passionate educator teaching at every level from elementary through college, she was also Supervisor of Early Childhood Education K-3rd for Duval County. She is remembered for her many warm friendships and genuine interest in each person she met.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 66 years Don Scott; children Mike Scott, Susan Scott Earnhart, and Anne Scott; grandchildren Andy Scott, Katherine Scott Fleischmann, Elizabeth Earnhart, Matthew Earnhart, Emily Trinkle and Julianna Trinkle; and great grandchildren Karoline, Evelyn and Walter Fleischmann.

A private family celebration of life will be held later, in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Michael J. Fox Foundation.
