Barbara Jean Johnson

She enjoyed traveling with her husband as often as possible to places such as Las Vegas, Mexico, and the Bahamas, but, the most fun was just getting on the road and going till they stopped. Part of her love for traveling included going on cruises. She was a big fan of NASCAR and every Sunday afternoon she had to watch the race. She loved watching the Jaguars and Gators. Barbara also loved to try her luck at lotto, with scratch offs being her favorite. Some of her favorite shows included American Idol and People Puzzlers.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents: Stanley T. Sargent and Ruth E. Calloway; daughter, Debbie Lynes (Jimmy Smarz); and sister, Janice Bevell.

Barbara is survived by her Husband of 43 years, Bryon Buddy Johnson; two sons: William "Billy" H. DeRuiter (Cecelia) and Jeff McCarty (Andrea); step-daughter, Tammy Johnson (Rob); sister, Mary Tucker (Gary); six grandchildren: Melissa Hosford (Ryan), Brittany McCarty, Tyler DeRuiter (Emily), Haley Loosen (Matt), Tanner DeRuiter, and Hunter DeRuiter; seven loving great-grandchildren: Kylie Hosford, Amelia McLane, Tatum DeRuiter, Houston Hosford, Mason McLane, Wells DeRuiter and Jaxon Hosford.
