Mr. Twigg was born on February 28, 1935 in Iowa, the son of Albert and Mary Ellen Shoemaker Twigg. He was united in marriage to Lura Dodge for nine months. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a self employed over the road trucker. He was a member of the First Assembly Church of DeLand for over 25 years. He enjoyed fishing with his kids and driving his truck.
He is survived by his wife, Lura; four daughters, Suzie, Mary Jane, Cindy and Billie; a stepdaughter, Brenda; three grandchildren, Rebecca, Zack and Lauren; a brother-in-law, Lloyd and a sister-in-law, Eleanor. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim and a stepson, Doug.
Friends may call from 9:30 am till 10 am on Saturday, June 7th at the First Assembly Church of DeLand, 551 S Kepler Rd., DeLand. Services will be held at 10 am at the church with Pastor Mike Monaco officiating. Burial will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, Florida.
