Deltona, FL age 88 passed away on February 15, 2017 He was the son of the late William Mack and Susie Mae Blount. He is survived by his wife Ellen Eason Blount; sons, Wilburn (Jeannie) Blount of Tehachapi, CA and John (Cindy) Blount of Pawley’s Island, SC; step sons, Donald (Angela) Keeter of Creedmoor and Robert (Barbara) Keeter of Roanoke Rapids, NC; grandchildren, Aimee Blount Goldman, Scott Blount, Cary Blount Fitzgerald, Linda Blount, Michelle Blount, Shawn Blount, Keisha Wells, Stephanie Shotwell, Shannon Valencia and Tresa Keeter; 12 great grandchildren; sister Flossie Copeland of Yorktown, VA. Bill retired in 1986 as Lieutenant in charge of security from Newport News Ship Building, Newport News, VA.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday February 18, 2017 10-11 AM at the Faith Baptist Church, 1200 Providence Blvd. Deltona, FL 32725, where funeral services will follow at 11 AM. Burial will be in Deltona Memorial Gardens, Orange City, FL. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the Faith Baptist Church.
