Wanda "Wendy" Norman, 76, of Deltona, FL went to be with the Lord on February 16th, 2019 after complications associated with COPD. Wanda May Ingram was born January 24, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH. She spent her youth moving all around the country with parents and siblings, until she met the love of her life, Charles "Chuck" Norman in Los Angles, CA in December of 1961. The two were married on March 24, 1962 and immediately began their family.
Wendy is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Ingram and Delberta Stamper Ingram, and her three siblings, Margie Lewis, Vernon Ingram, and Bonnie Griffith. She leaves behind her loving husband and best friend of nearly 57 years, Chuck, and her 3 children, Teresa, Ed, and Debbie. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She always loved spending time with her family and friends. She dedicated her life to making everyone around her feel happy, loved, and accepted. She was a very talented artist with a passion for painting with watercolors and oils. Wendy enjoyed line dancing with her friends and putting on shows for the residents at nursing homes in south Florida. She also loved her porcelain dolls she had collected over the years.
Wendy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Services will be held on February 21 at 1pm with visitation prior to service starting at 11am, both at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, Orange City.
