He was born on June 12, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY, a son to the late Louis and Mable Persky Ulanoff. Walter married Roberta Thayer, and together raised three wonderful children. In 1982, they moved to Deltona, Florida, where Walt spent his career in retail sales. He was of Jewish faith and a part of the Congregation Beth Shalom in Deltona. Outside of work and family, he enjoyed cars. He was especially fond of car racing.
Walt is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Roberta; two sons, Peter (Gail) Ulanoff of Deltona and Jonathan (Kristin) of Orlando; one daughter, Lynn Hadley of Debary; eight grandchildren, Heather Miner, Dempsey Hadley, Francesca Tashy , Averi and Ariel Ulanoff, Ashley and Christopher; Six great grandchildren. Timothy Blaile, Hayden and Kingston Shilling, Sebastian and Greyson and Devin; one loved dog, Coco.
In addition to his parents Walt was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ulanoff.
