Susan Jean Platts Ashley

Susan was born on September 14, 1948 in Niagara Falls, New York, the daughter of Clarence and Emma Platts.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony and Kenneth Ashley; 4 grandchildren, Ralynn Morrison, Torrey Ashley, Dylan Ashley and Matthew Ashley; 3 sisters, Jeanette (Bob) Griffing, Gail (Tom) Curtin and Karen (Richard) Bevilacqua; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Alyssa Ashley.

She lived in the Lewiston, NY area until moving to Florida in the early 1980’s. Susan was a block & brick mason for much of her career and her final job was as a sales associate at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed family gatherings, cook-outs and riding on Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 29th at 11:00 am at Deltona Memorial Gardens followed by a remembrance gathering at Daly’s of Orange City.
