Steven Michael Loso, age 73, of Deltona Fl. passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024. He was born on March 14, 1951 in Manchester NH to Gerald Loso and Pauline (Nepveu) Loso. He grew up in Pembroke NH and graduated from Pembroke Academy in 1969. Steve was a United States Veteran. He found the love of his life and married Carol McHugh in Orlando, Fl on December 30, 1989.
He worked in the Sawmill industry in his younger years until he opened his own business, SCL and Son Inc., in a specialized refrigeration field where he got to work at many exciting locations, his favorite being the Kennedy Space Center. Steve loved to work with his hands doing woodworking and different types of construction that he’d learned from his father in his youth. He had many talents and was a jack of all trades. He had a love for the great outdoors and you could often find him fly fishing for trout in the New Hampshire mountains, Maine, and Canada, or fishing and shrimping in the Intercoastal waterways on the east coast of Florida with his son and best buddies. He had a passion for working on his beloved 1966 Corvette, playing guitar, and drawing and painting landscapes and wild animals.
Steve is survived by his wife Carol Loso of FL, his sister Margaret (Peggy) Worthen and her husband Randy of NH, his son Jeremy Loso of NH, brother and sister in law Bret and Sally Adams of FL, his grandchildren Justin Loso, Brandon Payson, and Erika Guillemette, his great grandchildren Autumn and Dominic, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and great friends.
